PS5 Surprise Update: How To Download The New PlayStation Store Gaming Experience Today | Games | Entertainment
THIS week saw a whole new PS4 and PS5 gaming experience released for free on PlayStation Store. Here’s how to download the Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War trial today.
A whole new gaming experience is available on PlayStation consoles and will stick around for the next few days.
PS4 and PS5 players can enjoy Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War at no additional cost until Thursday, July 29.
The trial is also available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X devices, which means you can enjoy cross-play with friends.
The free access period only includes a selection of modes, which means you won’t be able to play through the single player campaign.
And anyone who returns to the full game after the trial ends will have all of their Black Ops Cold War weapons and Global Progress intact, and any progress made during the trial will transfer straight to Warzone and Cold War.
The main difference between the PlayStation, PC and Xbox test is that the PS4 and PS5 versions come with an exclusive mode.
PlayStation players can switch to Onslaught mode, with a two-person team battling zombies on multiplayer maps. Stay near the Dark Aether Orb and try not to get overwhelmed. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
To download this new experience, free access to Call of Duty Cold War is available by searching the PlayStation Store.
You might find the full page of the game, where there should also be an option to download a smaller, free version.
Additionally, the official demo can also be found by searching the PlayStation Store webpage.
