Private pools you can rent at EHT, Galloway, CMCH and Tuckerton

You have this new swimsuit (WOW!) And now you want to go swimming.

The ocean is not the place because you might step on something and embarrass yourself by screaming like a little girl.

Your backyard isn’t working, because, well, you don’t TO HAVE swimming pool.

What about someone else’s pool?

Wait, let me rephrase that.

How about someone else’s pool, where that someone else actually gives you permission?

Believe it or not, there is actually a way for you to rent private pools at private homes in your area.

(Think of it like this – you can enjoy a beautiful swimming pool without all of the pains that come with it: like a big mortgage, taxes, and maintenance.)

Swim is a website / app / gimmick that lets you book your own time in other people’s pools.

Cool right?

Weird? Well, a little …

Swim has been around for a few years, and there are actually a few announcements in our area!

Swim is set up as VRBO Vacation Rentals …. you look for what you want, book it and make your payment, then show up and enjoy!

The only difference is that you rent the pool and not the house.

(Question: While you are swimming in their pool, are the owners at home looking at you through the blinds? A little weird, right? I told you …..)

Apparently you can rent a pool for any type of thing you like … swimming, a photo shoot, a family reunion, even a pet swim. (Again, maybe a little weird.)

So let’s see what you can rent right now. I did a quick search, and here’s what I found:

You can rent this beautiful pool and garden in Egg Harbor Township:

How? $ 100 an hour.

You can instantly book up to 5 people at present.

Most pools have a maximum number of people who can use their pool. Obviously, no one wants a big, uncontrollable party in their backyard. A mass social media invitation party is definitely and no-no.

Oh, wait. There is something you need to know before you jump in and rent this pool.

It is probably important.

It’s that line on the rental page:

“This host has not provided information regarding the availability of bathrooms.”

Uh, but what if you gotta go?

The rental page does not say if there is a Wawa nearby.

OK, let’s move on to this pool in Galloway Township:

Matteus via Swimply

This pool is a bit cheaper – only $ 60 an hour ($ 30 an hour if you blow up 50 beach balls while you’re at it ….. LOL)

You can also receive up to 20 guests!

Wait! There is a bathroom available! Wow!

Find find out more about this pool here.

Our search found this pool at Cape May Court House:

This pool is available for $ 76 per hour.

There is a bathroom available and you can have up to 10 people.

Learn more here.

Oh, no rock climbing!

By the way, Swimply has a long set of liability and risk rules, but if you are the owner, what does renting your pool to strangers do to your landlord’s policy? You have to jump, right?

Here’s another pool in the area, in West Tuckerton.

This “private oasis retreat” will cost you $ 100 per hour and you can accommodate a total of 20 guests. For Pete’s sake, NO CHILDREN!

Good, you have it now. Interesting, isn’t it?

If you have been a Swim pool host or pool renter, we’d love to hear from you in the comments section!
