Open auditions for ‘Clue’ open in May in Holmes County

It all started during a dinner in a mysterious mansion. On the menu, murder with a side of blackmail. After their dinner host is dead, the guests Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green and Mrs. White begin their room-to-room investigation to deduce the culprit.

Inspired by Hasbro’s favorite board game, “Clue” is an addictive and quirky game that will have everyone asking, “Who made it? Where? And with what?” Holmes Center for the Arts is producing “Clue” during of his summer art series “Art Under the Stars” at Berlin Park.

“Clue” will be played on July 8 and 9 under the direction of Jaime White.

Hearings scheduled for May 1-11

Video auditions for Clue will be open for submissions May 1-11. The final submission must be sent by midnight May 11 to be considered for a role. In-person auditions will be held May 9 and 10 by appointment. The roles will be chosen and published by email on May 13.

Rehearsals will begin May 15 and will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. General rehearsals will take place from July 5 to 7. Participants must be available for most rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances.
