Lowe’s is back with free craft workshops for kids

Have you heard that Lowe’s FREE Kids Workshops are back? It’s finally happening – the kids’ workshop is back in person at Lowe’s. Now you don’t need your child to pound home and wake up the baby. Or give you a headache. Now they can do it all in person at Lowe’s for free, no less.

Children’s workshop at Lowe’s

Lowe’s Kids Workshops are similar to the other big box store where kids get a free age-appropriate building project and they can put it together. Ideally, they do this with the help of parents. A little help, not all the help. They have to learn one way or another!

Projects are all kinds of fun crafts like toy cars or games or picture frames or bug houses. The people who offer these kits are quite creative.

Crafts are designed for ages 4 and up. It’s a really fun activity to do together and it’s free.

Register

Although there is no cost to do a workshop for children, you must register. The workshops are held from 9 a.m. to noon on the days that they have children’s workshops. The next one will take place on Saturday March 19, 2022 and the children will create a board game.

When you go to register for the online workshop, you will be asked to create an account and then choose a time slot, either 9am-10am, 10am-11am or 11am-12pm. If you prefer to pick up your children’s workshop kit, you choose the last slot from noon to 8 p.m. and you can pick it up the day before at the Lowe’s of your choice. The registration page currently shows the date of March 18, 2022 when you click on slots, but that’s probably a mistake since the date everywhere else is March 19, a Saturday, when they usually have used to doing the workshops.

Lowe’s has everything you’ll need to complete the project, so there’s no need to bring anything extra. When I took my kids to Lowe’s studio, they never had paint projects, so your kids should be able to wear whatever they want because they won’t be using paint.

We’ll update our schedule when Lowe’s adds more kids’ workshops to their schedule!
